Minifigure Armor - City Watch Tassets

Microsoft Word likes to try to change the spelling of tassets to assets…and I think the program has a point. Isn’t protecting your legs with tassets an assest you now can’t live without? No one likes their legs to be stabbed. And this will most likely happen if you don’t buy them for your LEGO® minifigures.

Frequently Restocked:  Black, Steel, Pearl Gold

Limited Edition: Dark Red, Brown

    Excellent accessory

For the price and look, you can't go wrong with this addition. Throughout history, many different groups has worn tassets and this works perfect!

    Almost perfect

Love the idea behind these and the other items like it. As others have stated they fall of to easily, super glue fixes that issue for me. Since I use all the items on here for tabletop gaming, making the waist gear permanent is not an issue,

    Poor attachment method

Posted by Jeremy Roney on 1st Mar 2019

As with everything on this site, this is a high quality and excellent product. However, both this and the greaves attach by simply "hugging" the minifig with two small prongs. I'd expected this with the greaves, but I'd thought the tassets would have a standard minifig leg attachment style.

    Simple but elegant.

While these add a touch of decoration to your guardsmen figures, there's not much to them. Pick a few up at sale prices, and they're worth it for the flair they add to a fantasy soldier.

    Looks good, falls off immediately

Posted by Amer A on 6th Dec 2016

If you plan on just outfitting your minifigures and never moving them this will be perfect. But if you want to put on the tassets and then actually move the piece around, at all. You will be disappointed. You can't see it in any of the pictures, but the way this stays on is just through 2 pegs that press against the outside of the figure's legs. Nice looking but barely stays on at all.

    Better buy two

Posted by Samuel on 4th Aug 2016

I bought two of those for my figures and I am very satisfied. They fit with many other armors (not just the city watch armor). However, I ended up with equipping e with both of these - one pair of tassets on the front and one on the back of the figure and it looks pretty amazing. So if you are willing to make medieval armored brute, I recommend getting two of those tassets.
Anyway I agree, these might be way better if they we connected as a kama on Star Wars figures.

    Looks great, falls off easily

Posted by Ryan P on 15th Jun 2016

I agree with everyone else. This looks fantastic but falls off very easily. I agree it should be modified to have two holes that fit over the two leg pegs, which would make it 5 stars.

    could be better

Posted by Unknown on 5th Jun 2015

I was super excited about this u til it arrived and I learned how it connects. It would be so much better if it went in between the torso and legs with a flat piece with 2 holes in it. It looks amazing but touching it at all will cause it to move or fall off as is.
