The 2016 BrickWarriors March Madness tournament continues to be quite unpredictable!

Although all four #1 seeds made it to the Elite 8, only one made it to the Final Four. Let's take a look at each category.

In the Ancient History/Fantasy category it was a battle of ancient military helmets as the #1 Roman Helmet advanced to the Elite 8 to face off against the #2 Spartan Helmet. Rome vs Sparta! It was the Spartan Helmet that claimed victory and now will represent the Ancient History/Category in the Final Four. 

In the New Accessories category it was a battle of Samurai accessories, Armor vs. Helmet that led to the #2 Samurai Helmet advancing to face the #1 Arming Sword in the Elite 8. Once again the #1 seed was defeated as the Samurai Helmet will represent the New Accessories category in the Final Four and match-up against the Spartan Helmet.

In the Viking/Castle category, despite the #5 City Watch Armor and #7 Viking Axe making nice runs to the Sweet 16 and the #6 Vambraces advancing to the Elite 8, it was the #1 Jousting Helmet that validated its top spot by making it to the Final Four.

And finally we have our most interesting category of the tournament, the Modern/Sci-Fi category. After defeating the #11 Deadly Cricket in the Sweet 16, newcomer the Bullet Factory was a big underdog as the #10 seed versus the #1 Vengeance Assault Rifle. But the Bullet Factory did what had never been done before as a #10 in the Elite 8. It won; becoming the first #10 seed to advance to the Final Four in BrickWarriors tournament history. (Of which there is only two years of history.)

So we have our Final Four! The Spartan Helmet will face the Samurai Helmet and the Jousting Helmet will face the Bullet Factory to decide our finalists.

Which accessory will prevail?! The final two will be announced on April 4th and the champion will be declared on April 5th.

In our fan contest we may already have a winner. Two people were able to correctly guess two of the final 4 accessories and one of those people has already clinched the overall victory. Second and third place are still to be decided. The winners will be announced on April 5th.
