It's not always the beauty of a custom LEGO accessory, sometimes it's the usage. The Tripod fits this description. By itself, it's just a weird, jack-looking piece of plastic. Amazing, right?! But you mount a big ol' gun on that thing, like the US Water Cooled Machine Gun, and suddenly that useless stand becomes a critical component of your Allied army, allowing your gunners to pivot and mow down any enemy forces that stand in their way. Plus, as shown in the accompanying picture, it fits perfectly on/in between any LEGO baseplates employed. Now, Mr. Tripod... you are BEAUTIFUL!
