That's a pretty fancy name for what amounts to a big ole shoulder pad. The NFL would be proud, I'm sure they'd outfit their modern gladiators in accessories so crude if it wouldn't be a PR nightmare. The Retiairus Galerus was quite useful for these gladiators, as they didn't wear helmets (another great idea for the NFL...). Some protection is better then none, right? Just make sure you pick up a pair of Arm Guards - they're necessary to attach the Retiarius Galerus in to!
