This week's Custom LEGO Minifigure of the Week is everyone's favorite historical-themed warriors, the Spartan and Roman Soldiers, brought to you by Michael Platt! Bitter enemies sometimes and allies others, these are two of the most recognized and respected representations of warriors from long ago times. The Spartans had incredible protection with their Spartan Helmet, Plume, and Shield, but curiously just HAD to show off their six pack abs for all the babes on the battelfield by only donning a Spartan Cape, though with that Spartan Sword, we'd all be a bit arrogant. The Romans took an opposite approach, outfitting themselves in a full body armor called the Lorica Segmentata, Roman Helmet with Plume, and a Roman Skirt because that was what was in high fashion back in the day. The Scutum shield was ingenuis, though, with a tall slender shape and a nice hook on the back to hold the Pilum for ranged attacks when that Gladius wouldn't do the trick. Yeah, these were some bad dudes back in the day... if they were marching on your home, well, it was not going to be your home much longer.
