After a hard-won battle, Aquila has been caught off guard by the thraex warrior who has entered the arena. Claudius is deceased and Aquila is tired, but she must fight for her life harder than before if she is to leave the arena victorious. With only a dagger to fight his sica sword, she needs to think quickly and move even quicker.
