Nothing like flying a kite on a bright sunny day. Suddenly, an enemy appears and you're under attack! Ahh! Well apparently, that was a thought... because somebody crafted this brilliant shield and it looks oddly like a kite (or perhaps coincidence but that doesn't work for my introduction here). Yup, the Kite Shield is a pretty literal definition of the look and what type of item it is. The design is actually ingenious, protecting the larger torso of a person while thinning out over the legs. While it still left some of the body exposed, the give of less protection for smoother maneuverability proved to be worth the risk. In minifigure form, the weight doesn't matter as much, we just think it looks cool and works for Knights or Vikings alike, but isn't limited to just those two themes; check the City Watch Guards rockin' their Kite Shields in style below!
