Scissor fights in general are a bad idea. Scissor fights between your minifigs? Well that's just fun. But why have a pair of scissors when you can have one scissor for each hand. The BrickWarriors Scissor is a big metal tube with a razor sharp blade on the end. This allows your minifigs to protect their arms while slicing the arms of their opponents.

Make a minifig gladiator with the Thraex Helmet, Thraex Plumes, a Gladiator Pauldron, Loincloth, and Gladiator Skirt. The Hunga Munga also makes for a great gladiator weapon.
