LEGO MOC of the Week - Burgundian & Frenchmen at Arms in a Street Fight by michaelozzie1

Minifigs are generally peaceful, but when they've been dueling for half a century, they can turn a little violent. Flickr user michaelozzie1 captured a tough fight between the Burgundian and Frenchmen in this week's MOC, and it all goes back to the Hundred Years War. The English and French hadn't gotten along for many years, when the English King claimed he was also the king of France...not cool. And the French didn't think so either. Alas, a super long war began. In this scene, it looks like things are about to get bloody. A Flanged Mace and City Watch Halberds are being held high, ready to strike the Pig Snout Bascinets of the opposition. Some of these men look better equipped for a battle, covered fully in with Sallets and Plate Armor. But it seems like these dueling sides are unfairly matched. And you may be wondering what the difference is between Burgundians and Frenchmen. Aren't they all French? They are, but Burgundians were members of a party formed in the latter part of the Hundred Years War that pledged support to the Duke of Burgundy. All this fighting seems pretty silly, and it looks like the horse in the background agrees. Great work Michael!
