Hunter Erickson made his debut in our MOC-of-the-week blog a few weeks ago with a scene based on a real battle from history. Hunter makes his second appearance on this blog with another MOC based on a historic battle. This time it is The Battle of Plataea. 

Here's how Hunter describes it:

The Battle of Plataea was the final land battle between the United Greek city States and the Persian Empire during the Greco-Persian wars. The battle was not just a huge victory for the Greeks but for the survival of western civilization.

The Greeks are the ones in the gold LEGO Spartan helmets. We like this MOC, but we think the Spartan soldiers would have looked even better in BrickWarriors' custom Spartan accessories. This MOC does feature 2 BrickWarriors weapons though. The Persian minifigure in the front left with a black hood is fighting with a Dervish Blade. In the back, towards the left, a Greek soldier in a gray helmet is holding up a Skull Crusher.
