Hunter Erickson brings us another classic battle pulled from history in this incredible MOC. This one is a bit more ambiguous though, as the exact location of the battle is not known but Watling Street has been offered as one of the more likely locales. Although based in current day Britain, this one saw the Britons massacred by the outnumbered but better skilled and equipped Romans. As you can tell from the MOC, the Romans were well-versed in the strategy of warfare with effective formations and processes to weaken and defeat the opponent, while the Britons, feeling their overwhelming numbers were the key to victory, had a mash-up of weapons and armor including Viking Longswords, Goblin Shields, Gladiator Pauldrons and Goblin Helmets. The Romans emerged victorious, as they so often did, and the rest, as they say, is history.
