Bascinets are so last century (if this is the mid 15th century...), so make sure that all of your LEGO® minifigures are sporting shiny new sallet helmets. Otherwise they'll rightfully be laughed off of the battle field.

This helmet is a thing of beauty. It captures the essence of those colorful medieval paintings and manuscripts of old, where grim faced pike and sword wielding footmen gouge each other in the foreground while a steel colored sea of helms lets us know that the carnage we see is but a fraction of destruction. Suitable for both infantry and cavalry this helmet is universal to Western European armies, especially of the time of the Hundred Years War and War of the Roses.
