Thraex Plumes (Pair)

I hope it is not due to the attachement between the two, but as this was the first piece I opened from my bag, I was frightened because these plumes were surprisingly loose and I do consider them imperfect. That does not allow me to go under 4 stars however since manufacturing work is perfect nonetheles. Looks great with my brown helmet!

They don't have the very tiny plume attachment point so they are limited to whatever a lightsaber blade can attach to. Also, all over this site are clear orange "flame" bits sticking out of guns but there are no clear options at all, and especially not orange! Kind of misleading.

So far, I haven't used these plumes for their intended purpose yet. I get the red ones which make great flame representation in your torches & flamethrowers.

I bought a set with the Thraex helm to give to a friend who's a Latin teacher and collects minis with Grecian themes, but then I realized they'd make cool flames and other bits of flash for other figures and sets. The nubs are a bit bigger than most Lego plumes, so they won't fit in -all- the headgear you may have, but still, useful little items.

I initial bought a pair in red to use as flames for the pair of Fire Breathers I bought. They looked excellent for that. I also got a pair in lime green with a Mystery Pack & was disappointed to find they wouldn't fit in the Tricorn. Also, the fact you have to break the pair a part, leaving a little flash to clean up was a little disappointing. Still a good product that I would buy again if I have the use for them (more fire breathers & I presume the fit well in the Thraex helmet).

Good for dekorate helmets and hats and stuff

I have long had issues with lego plumes breaking. This is a sturdy product that will stand up to a lot of use. Well done.

These plumes fit nice and snug in the Thraex helm.
