Easily the best looking armor. The shoulder pads add a distinctive look that has made it my favorite armor piece available. The detail from the individual chain links to the straps holding the shoulders to the center piece is another little detail that makes this piece deserve this rating. The armor itself goes with many helmets and even capes, looks very nice.

Versatile for many minifig characters, heroic or savage. The stud on the back is awesome, though now i wish all brick warriors armor had studs. Would love to see this armor, as well as all items in greek/roman/fantasy/viking/castle/samurai themes, in bronze or copper colors.

This is just really nice looking armor! Very detailed, intricate, nice to look at. Makes any figure look ready to rumble.
Excellent for hunting dragons, heavy chainmail with a steel plate in the center makes for excellent protection from cuts, and the large shoulder guards ensure that you keep your shoulders. Now if you're wondering about mobility, well the arms can go a little less than straight out. It's fine for swords and such but guns and the like would suffer from permanent downwards aiming. (assuming you're making a post-apoc bandit type thing)
